IN WITH THE NEW
Everyone knows that resolutions don't officially start until the second day of the year. January 1st is reserved for recuperating from New Years Eve festivities and mentally detoxing from the crazy holiday season. By the time I wake up January 2nd I am refreshed, relaxed, and ready to go!
I've decided to make 2013 the year of "more." I've also decided to make 2013 the year of "simplicity." I know the two concepts appear counterintuitive at first, but stay with me on this one. In this case "more" refers to value and "simplicity" refers to objects... so more value and less things. You've probably heard this before. Basically, it's a superfluous way of saying "quality over quantity."
They say a picture is worth a thousand words... so I tried my hand at Adobe Illustrator and drew a picture of my 2013 resolutions --the operative word being tried. It didn't come out the way I imagined, but it's not bad for my first digital illustration.

I was going to ask if you made that picture! It's so cute. I don't think I can read a book a week anymore but I am going to try. The rest of the goals are the same as mine :)
